FAQ

Questions owners actually ask us

Honest answers. If something below makes you not want to buy, better you know now.

Is this just SEO with a new name?

No, but they're cousins. SEO is about ranking in a list of links. We work on whether AI assistants name your business when someone asks them who to call. Some fixes overlap — a clean website helps both — but we measure something Google rankings don't show you: what ChatGPT and Perplexity actually say when asked about your trade in your city.

How is this different from my marketing agency?

Three ways. First, we show you the actual AI answers before and after — you're never taking our word for it. Second, every fix is published to your own website and your own Google Business Profile, so the work stays yours if you leave. Third, you approve each change before it goes live. No retainers for vague "brand work."

How long until I see results?

Two different clocks. Your Readiness score improves as soon as fixes are published — usually within the first weeks. AI Visibility takes longer: AI systems re-read the web on their own schedule, so answers typically start changing 4 to 12 weeks after fixes go live. We won't pretend otherwise.

Do you guarantee I'll show up in AI answers?

No, and nobody honestly can. We don't control ChatGPT or Perplexity. What we can do: fix what's holding you back on your side, rescan on a regular schedule, and show you real answers so you can see movement — or the lack of it — with your own eyes. If it isn't working, cancel.

What do you need from me?

About 15 minutes to start: your business name, city, trade, and website. To publish fixes we'll need access to your website (or your web person's email) and your Google Business Profile. After that, your only job is clicking approve or reject on the fixes we propose.

Will you change my website without asking?

Never. Every fix — every page, every edit, every profile update — sits in a queue until you approve it. You see exactly what will be published and where. Reject anything you don't like, no questions asked.

Which AI tools do you check?

The free check asks ChatGPT and Perplexity — the assistants homeowners use most. The full product also tracks Gemini and the AI answers built into Google search. We ask them the same questions your customers type, for your trade, in your city, and record what comes back.

What exactly are the two scores?

AI Visibility measures how often AI answers name your business when we ask the questions your customers ask — it's the "where you stand" number. AI Readiness measures whether your website and Google Business Profile are structured so AI systems can find, read, and trust your information — it's the "what to fix" number. To build it, we audit the signals AI assistants use to find, trust, and recommend your business.

What if I don't have a website?

We can still measure your AI Visibility and check your Google Business Profile. But most of the fixes that move the needle live on a website, so we'll tell you straight: without one, your ceiling is low. We'll show you the gap first so you can decide if it's worth building.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Plans are month to month and you can cancel anytime. Everything we published stays yours — it's on your website and your profile, not ours. Annual billing is discounted because you're committing longer.

Does anyone really ask ChatGPT to find a plumber?

More every month. AI answers are now built into the search tools people already use, and homeowners increasingly ask assistants directly — especially in a panic, when they want one name instead of ten links. That's exactly the moment we measure. Run the free check and see what comes back for your business; the answer settles the question either way.

I already pay for ads. Do I need this too?

They do different jobs. Ads buy you a spot while you pay. AI answers pull from what's publicly true about your business — your site, your profile, your reviews. We fix that layer, and it keeps working when the ad budget stops. Many customers run both.

What counts as an extra trade or location?

A location is a city or service area we monitor, and a trade is what we track questions for — say plumbing, or water heaters as a second trade. Every plan includes a set number of each, and you can add more; current per-plan pricing is on the plans page.

Who owns the content you publish?

You do. Everything goes on your own website and your own Google Business Profile, under your accounts. If you cancel, nothing gets taken down. We think that's the only fair way to do this.

How do I know it's working?

We rescan twice a month and show you the actual AI answers, not just a dashboard number. When we asked about your trade in your city, did the answer name your business? You'll see it change over time — and if a competitor starts showing up where you should be, you'll see that too.
